Granted, it’s hard for a gamekeeper or park ranger to imagine nipping around their estate in a Mini Countryman, an SUV with a ground clearance of only 170mm doesn’t exactly inspire confidence. Back in the day a VW Beetle would have met such a challenge with a daring bravado.
delta4x4, Germany’s OffRoad specialist, nestled in the heart of the Bavarian countryside, waited a long time before being asked to give the Mini Countryman an uncompromising delta4x4 makeover. The delta OffRoad experts set to work with a passion to give this iconic vehicle the delta4x4 OffRoad treatment. They gave the Countryman a 25mm lift with a suspension extension and a further 40mm by mounting 235/60R17 tires and rims.
The Mini Countryman with this extra 65mm is definitely an eye-catcher putting it in the same league as the Tiguan and the Kuga. The Mini looks splendid in its OffRoad attire, much more masculine and powerful. The lift kit costs circa 450€. A set of wheels and tires with all terrain tread from Cooper or Goodrich will set you back a further 1800€.
