Nissan announces U.S. pricing for 2011 Maxima and Sentra

Nissan North America, Inc. (NNA) yesterday announced U.S. pricing for the 2011 Nissan Maxima and 2011 Nissan Sentra sedans. Both vehicles are on sale now at Nissan dealers nationwide.

The 2011 Maxima is offered in two well-equipped models – Maxima 3.5 S and Maxima 3.5 SV, each featuring a standard 290-horsepower 3.5-liter DOHC 24-valve VQ-series V6 engine and Xtronic CVT™ transmission. Revisions for 2011 include new rolled edge tailpipe finisher; new smoked headlights (Sport models); new dark chrome grille (Sport models) and unique shiny gray interior stitching (Sport models). Also offered are two new exterior colors, Metallic Slate and Brilliant Silver.

Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Prices* (MSRP) for the 2011 Nissan Maxima include:

  • Maxima 3.5 S CVT $30,810 USD
  • Maxima 3.5 SV CVT $33,530 USD

For 2011, the fine-tuning of the popular Nissan Sentra compact sedan continues with a realignment of option package equipment, helping buyers to attain just the right level of features to match their needs and budgets. Sentra is offered in six models – Sentra 2.0, 2.0 S, 2.0 SR, 2.0 SL and the performance-oriented Sentra SE-R and SE-R Spec V.

About the 2011 Sentra and Sentra SE-R
Nissan Sentra 2.0 models feature a standard 140-horsepower 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine, 6-speed manual transmission or fuel-efficient Nissan Xtronic CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission). Sentra SE-R is equipped with a 177-horsepower 2.5-liter inline 4-cylinder with Xtronic CVT™ and SE-R Spec V offers a potent 200-horsepower 2.5-liter inline 4-cylinder and a 6-speed manual transmission.

SE-R and SE-R Spec V models include unique sporty exterior and interior designs and exclusive wheel/tire offerings. Sentra is also available with a range of amenities ranging from the luxury of heated leather-appointed seating to the convenience of Nissan’s Intelligent Key keyless entry system.

Changes for 2011 include the addition of a SE-R style rear spoiler for 2.0 CVT, 2.0 S and 2.0 SL models.
