Renault has upgraded its Modus/Grand Modus range which includes the new, high-end eEception equipment level.

The Authentique equipment level (Grand Modus only) comes with new 15-inch Faraway wheel trims and body colour exterior door handles, while the interior features new Evasion upholstery. The rear benchseat of the entry level version is now equipped with three head rests and the driver’s seat is height-adjustable.

The Expression equipment level has body colour bumpers and body colour side protective mouldings.

The Dynamique equipment level features 15-inch Taranis wheel trims and an 80W radio-CD audio system with MP3 playback and steering wheel-mounted fingertip remote control.

Last but not least, the former limited-edition Exception version introduced in 2009 has become an equipment level in its own right and includes an 80W radio-CD audio system with MP3 playback and steering wheel-mounted fingertip remote control. The list of options now features a Leather Pack available for Exception versions (Modus only – available for Grand Modus at a later date).

Also new is the availability of the now Euro5-compliant TCe 100 engine which boasts CO2 emissions of just 139g/km, equivalent to fuel consumption of 5.9 litres/100km.

The new range will be available from the beginning of September in those markets where the Modus/Grand Modus is sold. In France, order books have been open since July 6, with prices ranging from €14,450 to €19,550 for Modus, and from €14,450 to €20,550 in the case of Grand Modus.
